Business Lease aims for growth of 10-15 pc in Romania *Company entered market by taking over FMS

“Business Lease has come to Romania! With a new operational leasing model” is the opening slogan of Business Lease’s business philosophy. Business Lease launched its operations in Romania on October 1. Our country has thus become the fifth country in Central and Eastern Europe in which Business Lease expands its operations following the takeover of Fleet Management Services (FMS) at the end of last year.
At European level, Business Lease manages a fleet of 42,000 auto vehicles and offers integrated full operational leasing services and auto fleet management services whose result is lower mobility costs for its clients. The company is market leader in countries such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, and compared to its competitors on the Romanian market the company stands out mainly through “Better Care,” according to Business Lease Romania Managing Director Philip Aarsman.
“We believe cars are the same everywhere but people make the difference; consequently we deliver the most important service – better customer care. Hence our motto – Same cars, Better Care,” Philip Aarsman stated at the conference that marked the launch of operations in Romania.
After taking over FMS in the first part of the year, the number of operational leasing contracts grew by 15 per cent according to Aarsman, and one of the main projects on which the company focuses is Care Online, an investment that will lead to the digitization of Business Lease services and that will be launched next year.
According to company representatives, the Consultative Selling component is still an aspect that makes the company stand out when compared to the competition.
With a portfolio of over 42,000 contracts, Business Lease aims for a growth of 10-15 per cent on the Romanian market in 2016.
“Our goal is at least to keep the market growth at 10-15 per cent,” Philip Aarsman said, adding that Business Lease does not intend to be the biggest player in Romania but the one that offers the best care to its customers.
