PM Ponta meets King Abdullah II of Jordan, renews him invitation to visit Romania

Prime Minister Victor Ponta, accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Bogdan Aurescu, was received on Sunday by King Abdullah II of Jordan in Amman.

Ponta had announced on Saturday he would renew the invitation for the King to visit Romania.

Also on Sunday, the Romanian prime minister met Talal Mohammed bani Melhem, vice president of the Jordanian National Center for Security and Crisis Management.

PM Ponta was on a two-day official visit to Amman, upon an invitation of his Jordanian counterpart, Dr Abdullah Ensour.
