Health Ministry to be foreclosed

The Health Ministry is going to be foreclosed, since it didn’t pay the damages to the parents of the baby victims at the Giulesti Maternity in Bucharest.
According to the bailiff present on Tuesday at 10am at the Health Ministry’s headquarters, the movable property of this public institution was to be seized.
“Ever since June 7, 2015 the Health Ministry had the obligation to submit a complete list with the goods belonging to the Health Ministry legal person. It didn’t happen,” said the bailiff at the entrance in the ministry’s building.
According to sources with the Health Ministry, sequester could be put most probably on some of its vehicles, furniture and computers.
The Health Ministry has received a payment order for over four million euros in damages, ruled by a court after a fire killed six infants and seriously injured five other on August 16 2010 in the Neonate Intensive Care Unit of the Prof. Dr. Panait Sarbu Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, known as the Giulesti Maternity.
