President Klaus Iohannis: Romania strongly censures these murderous attacks
Romania’s President, Klaus Iohannis condemns the terrorist attacks of this Saturday morning in Ankara, Turkey, reads a press release by the Romanian Administration.
“I condemn the attacks that occurred today near the central train station of Ankara, explosions following which several people died and many others were injured. On my behalf and on behalf of the Romanian people, I express solidarity with the authorities of Ankara and the Turkish people, and I send my condolence to the hard tried families of the dead and of the peoples seriously wounded in the terrorist attacks. Romania strongly censures these murderous attacks and reiterates its entire support for Turkey,” said Klaus Iohannis.
PM Ponta on Twitter: Terrorist attacks in Ankara, horrendous, unacceptable
Prime Minister Victor Ponta on Saturday called as “horrific” and “unacceptable” the Saturday morning terrorist attacks in Ankara, Turkey, on his Twitter account.
“Horrendous and unacceptable, the terrorist attacks in Ankara,” said Victor Ponta, adding that he is alongside the Turkish people and the Turkish Government in their fight against the terrorists.
“Solidarity with the Turkish Government, people in this difficult battle,” said the Romanian Premier.
Foreign Ministry sends condolence to the Turkish authorities and to the friend Turkish people
The Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) strongly condemns the terrorist attacks on Saturday near the central train station in Ankara, resulting in explosions with several casualties, wounded, on the spot where an authorised meeting was to take place, a release by the MAE sent to Agerpres informs.
“The MAE sends condolence to the Turkish authorities and to the friend Turkish people, to the members of the families of the dead and its whole compassion to the injured. The MAE expresses solidarity with the Turkish people in these dramatic moments,” says the release.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry asserts its entire support for the Turkish authorities’ efforts to fight any terrorist-like manifestations.
