Tattoo artists from 20 countries meet in Bucharest

The International Tattoo Convention, an event turned into tradition in Romania, has reached its sixth edition and is organised in an entirely special place this year – The Bragadiru Palace in Bucharest, near the People’s House, between 09 – 11 October.
The visitors will be able to walk into the realm where fairytales become eternal reality on skin, will be able to watch over 100 tattooing artists at work, will admire hundreds of tattoos and piercing jobs, will be able to participate in freak shows contests and watch concerts.
“In a story book you often find pages with colourful drawings. And also, most of the stories take place in a palace. This year, we will live our story together with you, in a tremendous palace and full of elegance, a special place with special people”, says the organisers’ release.
The special guests this year are the non-conformist Emilio Gonzales, suspension maestro, and the sci-fi performance Invaders group.
In the last 6 years, the International Tattoo Convention has brought together to Bucharest some of the best tattoo artists\, specialising in body piercing, musicians, tattoo fans and curious people attracted to body art. This year’s edition seems to be richer than ever before and, in addition, will take place in a fairytale-like location.
Tickets are on sale in the MyTicket and Eventim networks, but also during the event. The visiting time-table is Friday to Sunday, from 12:00 to 23:00.
