Code Orange for snow, gales, glazed frost in Suceava, Neamt Counties

The National Meteorology Administration (ANM) has issued on Sunday a Code Orange for gales of over 70 to 80 kmph and glazed frost snow in Suceava County and the mountainous area of Neamt County.

The Code Orange for the two counties is valid from October 11, 1:00 p.m., to October 12, at 10:00 a.m., and the snow layer will exceed 10 to 15 cm in those areas.

According to meteorologists, the Code Yellow for rain, gales and snow, valid from October 10, 10:00 a.m. to October 12, 6:00 p.m., is extended to 36 counties plus Bucharest.

The gales will record 55 to 60 kmph, especially in the southern regions, and in southern Banat, eastern Muntenia and Dobrogea and also in mountains areas there will be gales of over 70 kmph.

The cooling process will become more intense, bringing very cold weather in all regions, but especially in the extra-Carpathian ones.
