FDI in Romania, Jan.-Aug. 2015: EUR 2.3 bln

Non-residents’ direct investment in Romania (estimates) totalled EUR 2.299 billion, of which equity (including estimated net reinvestment of earnings) amounted to EUR 1.453 billion and intercompany lending to EUR 846 million (net), according to data released by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) on Wednesday.
Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Romania in the first eight months of 2014 was standing at 1.424 billion euros, almost 1 billion euros less than in the similar period of 2015.
