Program of John Abercrombie Quartet concert in Bucharest

One day is left until the concert legendary jazz icon John Abercrombie will perform at the Radio Hall in Bucharest. The event will take place on Saturday, October 17, at 8 pm. The acess of the audience to the hall will be granted starting at 7 pm.

John Abercrombie returns Romania six years after having performed on the stage of the legendary Garana Jazz Festival. The great artist will be accompanied on the stage of the Radio Hall by Marc Copland (piano), Drew Gress (bass) and Joey Baron (drums).
With a career of over 40 years and having released almost 50 albums, John Abercrombie was acknowledged as one of the great masters of jazz. His preference for unconventional sounds (such as, by example, electronic mandolin) and untraditional ensembles imposed Abercrombie as a great experimentalist, as he managed to amaze and innovate at each performance or record release.

The tickets are available in the Eventim.ro and Iabilet.ro networks, as well as at the box office.
Organizer Jazz Syndicate Live Sessions offers a few great deals to the audience, by issuing joint subscription tickets for three of the most spectacular jazz concerts due this autumn at the Radio Hall. Thus, the Eventim network provides subscriptions for concerts by John Abercrombie, Charlie Parker & Dizzy Gillespie Tribute, due on November 15, and Marc Cary, scheduled for November 22. Subscriptions are available at prices starting at RON 190 and provide access to all three concerts.
