Transgaz estimates natural gas demand of over 12.5 million MWh in November

The natural gas demand in November this year is estimated by Transgaz, the operator of the national natural gas transmission grid, at 12.529 million MWh, according to the data remitted to the Regulatory Authority for Energy (ANRE).
The demand of regulated household consumers is estimated at 3.387 million MWh, that of eligible household consumers at 20.064 MWh, and that of the producers of heating for household consumption at 1.492 million MWh. The non-household consumers’ demand is estimated at 6.968 million MWh, and technological consumption at 661,654 MWh.
In what concerns the natural gas mix for household consumers and producers of heating, ANRE has approved that their consumption should be covered fully from domestic production. The ANRE-approved demand for household consumers and the producers of heating stands at 4.899 million MWh. The storage programme for November entails the injection of a quantity of 2,637 MWh of natural gas.
