Institutional investors from 11 countries present in Bucharest: * Franklin Templeton Investment Management Limited UK organized the 8th edition of Analysts’ and Investors’ Days

Franklin Templeton Investment Management Limited UK’s Bucharest subsidiary, as Sole Manager and Management Company (“Fund Manager”) of the Fondul Proprietatea S.A. (“the Fund”), organized the 8th edition of the Analysts’ and Investors’ Days on October 27-29 in Bucharest.

The event was widely attended and garnered the interest of investors. Over 120 international analysts and investors took part in it, representing some of the largest global investment funds which manage assets whose total value surpasses USD 1,500 bln in countries such as the United States of America, United Kingdom, Germany, Hungary, Estonia, Denmark, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Slovenia and Russia.

Greg Konieczny, Fondul Proprietatea Fund Manager, stated: “We are pleased to see such high interest in Romania on the part of foreign institutional investors, compared to five years ago when I took over the management of Fondul Proprietatea. The presence of such a high number of institutional investors is proof of the fact that Fondul Proprietatea and other companies in Romania represent an attractive opportunity for investors.”

Analysts and investors had the opportunity to interact with the leaders of some of the largest companies in Romania in connection to the businesses they manage. Those companies include OMV Petrom, Romgaz, Nuclearelectrica, Hidroelectrica, Banca Transilvania, BRD Groupe Societe Generale, Aeroporturi Bucuresti, Conpet, Port of Constanta, Oltenia Energy Holding, Romanian Post, Salrom, Alro Slatina, Electrica and Enel Romania.
