Petrom opens first two mobile gas stations

OMV Petrom has inaugurated its first two mobile gas stations on A1 Highway’s Orastie-Sibiu sector, at the 76th kilometre mark. The gas stations are operated under the Petrom brand. The stations are located in the services areas that the National Highways Company (CNADNR) leased out in early July. The recently inaugurated gas stations are located near Cristian locality, approximately 12 kilometres from Sibiu.

Each gas station has a fuelling area, a store area and 3 gas pumps offering four types of fuel. One of the pumps is a high-capacity one for the fuelling of lorries.

“The new mobile gas stations answer varied needs, offering both fuel and a wide range of non-oil products. We hope that by the end of November we will inaugurate eight more mobile gas stations in the highways’ services areas,” OMV Petrom Retail Manager Adrian Nicolaescu stated.

Back in July, OMV Petrom won the tender for the construction of ten gas stations in five services areas located on the new Romanian highways.
