President Iohannis says impressed by inflowing messages of solidarity

President Klaus Iohannis said he is deeply impressed with the messages of solidarity received from heads of state and government, foreign ambassadors in Bucharest, and thanks everybody.

”I am impressed by the messages of solidarity received from the heads of state, government, from the ambassadors in Bucharest and from Romania’s friends outside country borders. These are warm words of support and encouragement that are actually conveyed to all the Romanians, and which I read with great emotion. Thank you, everyone!,” Iohannis wrote on Monday on his Facebook account.

The diplomatic representations of several countries including the United States of America, the Russian Federation, France, the UK and Spain flew their flags half-staff to mourn the victims of the tragedy occurred on Friday in Bucharest’s Colectiv club that killed 31 and injured over 180.
