Club Colectiv fire : Death toll dramatically rises to 41

The toll of the Colectiv Club fire that shook Bucharest on October 30 has reached 41 deaths on Saturday evening after another two of those injured in the fire last week have died at the Floreasca Emergency Hospital and the Bagdasar-Arseni Hospital.
The number of persons who have died on Saturday has risen, thus, to nine, of which seven in Bucharest hospitals and two after being transferred by plane to the Netherlands.

President Iohannis sends condolences to families of latest victims of Colectiv fire

“My thoughts and soul are with the grieving families who got today the tragic news of the passing away of their dears suffering in hospitals. May God rest them!” President Klaus Iohannis wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday, when nine more victims of the October 30 fire in Bucharest’s Colectiv nightclub died, bringing the count to 41.

More than 40 wounded in the incident are still in critical condition in hospitals in Bucharest and abroad.
