Angela Gheorghiu will perform for the victims of Colectiv

Soprano Angela Gheorghiu will offer an extraordinary concert on November 29, at the Romanian Athenaeum. The event will be dedicated to collecting required funds for the treatment of victime in Colectiv Club Fire.

Angela Gheorghiu will be joined on stage by the “George Enescu” Choir and Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by maestro Tiberiu Soare.
The partner of the event dedicated to collecting and distributing funds gained this way is the Foundation “Prize Life”, led by Andreea Marin.

“The tragedy at Colectiv Club has affected the lives of so many young people, who had actually gathered due to their love of music. In front of such suffering, I have felt initially drained of power, because I am not a doctor and I found no way to help directly and immediately, as I would have wished to. Nonetheless, I believe in the healing and encouraging power of music, I know that it heals souls and redeems the faith in humanity, and this is why I initiated this concert. I hope that everyone who will join me on November 29, at the Romanian Athenaeum would be animated by the same feelings of solidarity, generousness and love towards people confronted with pain at this point”, Angela Gheorghiu declares in a press release.

The artist points out that victims in Colectiv need at this point “the support of the entire Romanian society and the promise that such disasters will never occur again”.
“It is the time to do noble deeds, it is the time to show solidarity, it is the time to be better, more genuinely involved, more generous”, Angela Gheorghiu suggests.

The tickets for the concert on November 29 have a singular price of RON 315 and may be purchased online in the networks biletoo.ro and bilet.ro, as well as in Librarium and Eminescu book shops, Flanco stores, the National Palace of Children and the BiletFan shop at Union 1 subway station.
