Romania exports last year 4 planes, other aircraft worth 32.9m euros

Romania exported last year four planes and other aircraft totaling 32.9 million euros, and imported two aircraft of over 7.2 million euros, shows a publication of the National Institute of Statistics (INS), sent at AGERPRES’ request.

According to the INS, it is about planes and other aircraft weighing over 15,000 kg.

The most expensive such aircraft was sold to Russia, worth 26.1 million euros. Another one of 5.45 million euros was delivered to Indonesia, and a third one to the US, with a value of 1.11 million euros. There are no data on the export country of the fourth aircraft, only on its price – 215,000 euros.

As to imports, the aircraft came from the US.

Romania also exported last year parts of balloons, airships and other aircraft worth 123.6 million euros and imported relevant products of 73.6 million euros.
The highest exported value of these products was to Germany, 70.4 million euros respectively. The imports from this country amounted to over 46.5 million euros.
