PM Ciolos meets representatives of Coalition for Romania’s Development

Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos and Deputy Prime Minister Costin Borc on Friday had a first meeting with representatives of the Coalition for Romania’s Development (CDR), on which occasion they reviewed the main projects of CDR and talked about reevaluating the government – business environment common objectives.

“The discussions were aimed at reviewing the main projects of the CDR this year, the continuation of the work mechanisms agreed with the former government and the reevaluation of the government – business environment common objectives. In the meeting today, it was agreed that these meetings should continue on a regular basis, in the joint working groups established at the level of ministries and coordinated by Deputy Prime Minister Costin Borc. Moreover, in the coming period a common working calendar will be established as well as concrete objectives,” informs a Government release sent to Agerpres.

Attending the meeting on behalf of the Coalition were Romanian Business Leaders (RBL) Foundation vice president Dragos Rosca, AmCham president Daniela Nemoianu, Association of Business People (AOAR) president Florin Pogonaru, Foreign Investors Council (FIC) president Eric Stab.

The Coalition for Romania’s Development is a business environment association including significant specialist organisations – AmCham, FIC, AOAR, RBL, bilateral chambers of commerce – aimed at establishing a common dialogue platform for improving the Romanian business environment.
