“The maestro of Romanian carols”, again on tour

Among Romanian traditions, the one that got to identify with the celebration of Christmas is the Christmas carols. This song invites the hosts to ritual awakening, in order to welcome the carol singers who bring the news that Christ was born and to prepare to celebrate the great holiday of Our Lord’s birthday.

Stefan Hrusca, the best known Romanian carol performer, will spend Christmas Eve in the company of his fans, caroling them and enchanting them with songs such as “Three Shepherds”, “White Flowers”, “Outside It Is Peacefully Snowing”, “Holy Is the Christmas Eve” as well as songs from his latest album, “Songs From Home”.

“It is the most beautiful Christian and Romanian tradition – to visit your loved ones and wish them well for holidays. You do this and you will feel more pure, you will feel more harmony in your souls. I am not just singing, I feel each carol”, Stefan Hrusca declared.

The Christmas carol tour has the untranslatable name “Leru-i Ler” and includes several Romanian cities. After having performed in Buzau, Ploiesti, Tulcea and Constanta, the singer will continue his tour on Monday, December 14, in Bucharest, at the Grand Hall of the National Theatre. Due to the massive demand of tickets, the performance in Bucharest will be held twice: starting at 5:30 PM and starting at 8:00 PM, according to organizers.

From Bucharest, Stefan Hrusca will go to sing carols to the inhabitants of Brasov. Afterwards, he will visit Alba Iulia, Deva, Cluj-Napoca, Cristian, Sighisoara, Timisoara, Arad, Oradea, Pitesti, Iasi, Suceava, Tg. Neamt, Piatra Neamt, Bacau, Focsani.

The National Tour “Leru-i Ler” will end on December 28.

Tickets for Stefan Hrusca’s shows may be purchased in the network biletoo.ro, in Flanco stores, at the box office of the Bucharest National Theatre, at Librarium and Eminescu book stores, Diverta, Domo, Vodafone, Orange, Carrefour stores, the National Children’s Palace and the BiletFan shop – at the Unirii 1 subway station.
