Tenor Alessandro Safina, extraordinary Christmas concert in Romania

Alessandro Safina, “one of the most popular tenors in the world”, as described by Australian publication Sunday Mail, returns to enjoy the cheers of his Bucharest fans for an extraordinary Christmas performance.

The event is due on December 21 at the Palace Hall, starting at 7 PM. With a special repertoire dedicated to winter holidays, the beloved artist will perform in the company of 74 professional musicians, known as Alexander Symphony Orchestra.

His clear, powerful and sensuous voice, his impeccable voice quality and the impressive ability to transform and use his voice as if it were an instrument are qualities that allow the famous artist to successfully combine opera with genres such as pop, jazz, blues or rock.

Alessandro Safina has a brilliant career in the world of opera and has performed sold-out concerts on some of the most prestigious stages of the genre. The Italian tenor experienced a wide boost of popularity at the beginning of the year 2000, when he combined classical music and pop to create a new style, difficult to define – “Opera-Rock” – as he named it.

The single “Luna” spent fourteen weeks at the peak of international charts at that time.

Alessandro Safina has worked with numerous international artists, including Elton John, Carlos Santana, Rod Stewart, Miriam Stockley, Sarah Brightman, Jose Carreras or Mario Frangoulis. His performances are sold out, as the audience on all continents expresses genuine fascination for his music.

The tickets for the Christmas show due to be performed by Alessandro Safina were released at the Palace Hall and in the Bilete.ro network, at Post Offices, Inmedio and Germanos stores, at the box office of the National Children’s Palace, at the Unirii 1 subway station and online on www.bilete.ro.
