AIC Industrial&Logistic Development will build two warehouses for Fashion Days

AIC International & Logistic Development will develop and deliver for Fashion Days on a built-to-suit lease arrangement a total of more than 13,700 sqm of class A warehousing space that will allow Fashion Days to meet the demand of its expanding operations over the medium terms.

Vabeld Group, through its Romanian subsidiary Varoed, will provide funding and long term holding of this project.

Two warehouses will be built by AIC – one with a total built surface of 7,289 sqm, due in April 2016 and a second one with a 6,425 sqm, to be completed in May 2016. Both buildings are divided into an office area and a warehouse area and will include external platforms for access and parking.

The two spaces are located within A1 Business Park – a reference amongst the industrial and logistic centers, situated on Km 13 of the Bucharest-Pitesti motorway on a 70-hectare plot with more than 100,000 built sqm and a complete infrastructure ready to support modern industrial and logistic operations. A special attention is being paid by AIC to the construction so as to meet the highest standards in terms of quality and environmental care.

«Our top level expertise in the industrial and real estate sector recommends us as the partner of choice for important projects. The collaboration with Fashion Days, a prestigious online fashion retailer in Romania is a source of pride for us and we are committed to deliver only the very best, as we do for each of our clients. We take the opportunity to thank Varoed for the valuable support in developing this project» said Stefano Albarosa, CEO AIC Industrial & Logistic Development.

“The Fashion Days project demonstrates AIC and Varoed’s capability to deliver tailor made logistic facilities, adapted to rapidly changing logistic demand in a rapidly changing commercial environment.“ Kristof Haentjens, representative of Vabeld Group.

Fashion Days’ flourishing business called for an increased warehousing capacity so they decided to look for a partner in the logistic real estate sector.

«Fashion Days’ new business model involves a larger stock of products coming from new collections, a shorter delivery time and a greater diversity for our customers. For the moment, the selection we provide to our customers counts 500,000 items, but we are looking at increasing this number. To implement these changes, new warehousing premises were needed» stated Răzvan Predica, CEO Fashion Days. «The warehouses we have in Romania accommodate the entire Fashion Days stock. From here we deliver to every other market we are present in» adds Predica.
