Colectiv club fire death toll reaches 63

The death toll of the October 30 fire at Colectiv club reached 63, after a person injured in the fire died in a UK medical care unit.

The person who died is a male, who had been transferred from the Floreasca Hospital to a clinic in the UK, according to some medical sources, quoted by romaniatv.net.

A number of 34 injured in the fire at the Colectiv club are still hospitalised in Romania and abroad, out of whom 12 in Bucharest, the Health Ministry informed on Monday.

One of the patients hospitalised in the Capital is in a critical condition. So far, 68 persons who were treated in Romania have been discharged.

At present, one patient is hospitalised at the Bagdasar Arseni Hospital, same as at the Elias and CC Iliescu Hospitals, two are at the Emergency Hospital of Bucharest, three, at the Grigore Alexandrescu Hospital and four patients are hospitalised at the Central Military Hospital.

A number of 39 persons were transferred to medical units abroad. At present, a number of 22 injured persons in the Colectiv club fire are hospitalised abroad, among whom a German citizen.

Thus, there are two patients in stable state in each of the following countries, Austria, Israel and Germany. Four persons in stable condition are in the Netherlands and the UK and eight persons in stable state are hospitalised in Belgium.

Moreover, other four persons have been discharged and are provided outpatient care at hospitals abroad.
