The Bucharest gendarmes have found on Tuesday a person who was illegally selling pyrotechnical items, following an action performed near the Europa trade complex, on the Bucharest district 2 outskirts, a press release by the Bucharest General Gendarmerie Direction (DGJMB) informs.
After verifications, the gendarmes have found that the suspect has had upon self and in an abandoned vehicle over 27,000 pyrotechnical items with no legal right to hold.
The Bucharest gendarmes have drafted acts of referral under the accusation of possession of explosives.
The Bucharest Gendarmerie these days performs actions to prevent and combat the offenses and criminal phenomenon regarding the observance of the legislation referring to the pyrotechnical objects’ regime.
From December 26 to 28, the Bucharest gendarmes have seized from the occasional merchants 28,104 pyrotechnical items that could have endangered the citizens’ safety.
