The price of the train tickets will drop as of January 1, 2016 by 4pct, as a result of the enforcement of the Tax Code provisions regarding the VAT cut to 20pct, from 24pct, the CFR Passengers (CFR Calatori) informs, in a release sent to Agerpres.
The company specifies that the tickets can be purchased online, from the www.cfrcalatori.ro website, from the XsellKiosk ticket machines in the rail stations, from the ZebraPay machines, directly from the counters in the rail stations and CFR travel agencies and from the authorized distributors (travel agencies).
“If purchased online, the ticket’s printing is not mandatory, the client being identified based on their Identity Card and the ticket’s ID,” says the release.
The Railway Passenger Transport Company CFR Calatori SA is the national passenger railway operator that runs the public passengers’ transportation on the railway.
