Over 3,600 requests to ambulance services in Bucharest-Ilfov region between December 31 – January 3

Out of a total 3,600 calls received by the emergency services between December 31 – January 3, over 2,000 were code red and code yellow emergency cases, manager of the Bucharest – Ilfov Ambulance Service Alis Grasu told Agerpres on Sunday.

Accordingly, there were 3,602 calls to the Bucharest-Ilfov Ambulance Service, with 2,107 representing code red and code yellow emergencies, 218 of the latter occurring in public spaces. In the same period there were recorded 20 births, 9 road accidents and 27 suicide attempts.

The emergency service was requested mainly for people suffering from syncopes, fainting, indigestion, fever and abnormal heart rhythm.

Moreover, Alis Grasu, in the same period, 54 homeless people were directed towards the specialized services of Bucharest city halls.
