Romanian films, celebrated in Israel

The Romanian Cultural Institute in Tel Aviv organizes these days the Romanian Film Week in Israel. Throughout this week, the Cinematheque of Holon will present, until January 14, a selection of films grouped under the title “The Romanian Film Week”.

In the opening day, on January 4, the series was opened by “Quod Erat Demonstrandum” (2013), directed by Andrei Gruzsniczki; on January 5, starting at 8.30 PM, viewers may see “The Chosen One” by Cristian Comeaga (photo) (2015, 125 min.). The programme further includes on January 6, at 8:30 PM, “The Rest Is Silence”, directed by Nae Caranfil (2007, 117 min.), on January 8, at 7 PM, “Domestic”, directed by Adrian Sitaru (2012, 85 min.) and on January 14, at 8 PM, “Cabal in Kabul”, directed by Dan Alexe (2007, 86 min.).
