27 Romanian exhibitors to Vienna tourism fair ‘Ferien Messe 2016’

The National Tourism Authority (ANT) will participate, January 14 to 17, 2016, with a national stand, in the tourism fair ‘Ferien Messe 2016’ in Vienna.

Romania’s stand will be located between the Greek and Turkish ones and will group together 27 tourism companies and institutions. Among the exhibitors in Romania’s stand will be the County Councils of Suceava, Gorj and Satu Mare, the municipalities of Satu Mare, Timisoara, Cluj, Alba Iulia, Oradea and Sibiu, the resorts of Baile Felix and Baile Herculane and the national company Tarom, reads an ANT release issued on Monday .

Over 700 exhibitors from 70 countries will be present in Ferien Messe 2016, which draws some 150,000 visitors annually.

In 2016, the partner region of Romania’s stand will be Gorj County, which will display not only its tourism attractions, but also its cultural heritage, through the presence at the fair of the ‘Doina Gorjului’ folk ensemble.

Romania as a culinary destination will be presented in 2016, as a first, in the live-cooking show at GenussWelt, a gourmet promotional event held within Ferien Messe Vienna.
