Astaldi – Max Boegl to fix highway it did not build properly

The Astaldi – Max Boegl consortium, the constructor of the Arad-Nadlac highway section, started repair works on Wednesday and was scheduled to complete them on the same day.

According to a communiqué released by the National Highways and Roads Company (CNADNR), isolated potholes have recently started to appear over a surface of 31 square metres of the Arad-Nadlac highway section, because of the freeze-thaw weathering phenomenon and of heavy traffic.

The Highway Section of the Timisoara Regional Directorate for Roads and Bridges has made the necessary overtures in order to notify the constructor so that the latter would urgently address the problems discovered on the field.

“We point out that the highway is in the warranty period, so that all expenses will be covered by the constructor,” the communiqué points out.
