Ex-Prime Minister Victor Ponta posted a Facebook message hinting to the PNL candidate to the Mayoralty of Bucharest, Cristian Busoi, who has used images of the tragedy in Colectiv Club to promote his candidacy to the Mayoralty of Bucharest.
Victor Ponta mentioned the first declaration made by President Klaus Iohannis after he has announced his resignation from the lead of the Government due to protests caused by the tragedy in Colectiv Club.
“People needed to die so that I could have my own Government.” “If I have to, other people will have to die so that I can have my Mayor, too.” Have you understood, dear Bucharesters?! Verstanden!”, Ponta announced on his Facebook account.
After having used photos of the Colectiv tragedy and of the earthquake in 1977, Cristian Busoi was harshly criticised on socializing networks and finally apologized, mentioning a poor management of the situation by the members of his communication team.
