Several patrols intervened immediately and escorted them to the Jimbolia border police precinct, where first investigations showed all the migrants were men aged between 20 and 40, from Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and Morocco.

Serbian border authorities were contacted to join the investigation and to enforce the readmission agreement, and the border supervision was increased in accordance with the joint action plan for the prevention of illegal migration, the release further states.
