The Superior Magistracy Council’s (CSM) Auditing Body has proposed new rules for convicts who want to write books, namely for convicts that write scientific papers in order to have their prison sentences lowered.
One of the rules proposed is for the convicts to have higher education in the domain in which they want to write the scientific paper. Other stipulations would require them to present a work plan, a bibliography and a writing style.
The convicts will have to sign affidavits of compliance with copyright rules.
However, maybe the most important change proposed is for the number of days shaved off their prison sentences to be calculated in relation to the complexity of the paper written, the maximum number being 30 days as currently stipulated.
