Iranian art at Peasant’s Museum in Bucharest

The Iranian Embassy, in collaboration with the Bucharest National Peasant’s Museum and MEPEI, organizes the Iranian Culture Days on February 2-7, a series of events meant to bring Persian culture and art closer to the Romanian public.

A visual arts exhibition, a traditional art and handicrafts exhibition, workshops and film screenings will be organized as part of the event.

The opening of the event was attended on Tuesday, February 2, by distinguished guests from the Iranian Embassy in Bucharest, representatives of the Romanian state and the artists whose works can be admired within the museum’s foyer hall.

Throughout this period, until the event ends, films will be screened every evening within the Museum’s Horia Bernea Studio, films such as Saint Mary (Maryam-e Moghaddas), Today (Emruz), All Alone (Tanhaye-tanhaye-tanha), Once Upon A Time Love and Betrayal (Ruzegari eshgh va khianat) and Five Stars (Panj setareh).
