PNL summons Ciolos in Parliament

The National Liberal Party’s (PNL) Lower Chamber group has asked for a political debate titled “Romanian electoral legislation should ensure better representativeness for citizens” to be organized next Monday, in the presence of the Premier, on the basis of Article 206 of the Lower Chamber’s Statute, which talks about the “Premier’s Hour.”

According to a PNL request signed by Eugen Nicolaescu, the leader of its Lower Chamber group, the debate concerns topics such as two-round mayoral elections, the preparation of parliamentary elections and guaranteeing that members of the Romanian Diaspora have access to postal voting.
