ForMin Comanescu: Ankara attack, a despicable terror attack

Romania’s Foreign Minister Lazar Comanescu has called an attack on Wednesday in Ankara a despicable terror attack that once again proves how important it is intensifying the efforts of the world community to eliminate this scourge of the century’s beginning.

“The most important thing first and foremost is my voicing regret over a despicable terror attack once again leaving so many victims behind. That was an act that has to be condemned with all strength and that proves once again how important it is for the efforts of the world community, our efforts, to intensify so that this scourge of the century’s beginning may be somehow eliminated,” Comanescu told Realitatea TV private broadcaster on Wednesday evening.

The toll of the attack using a car bomb against military vehicles in downtown Ankara on Wednesday, has reached at least 18 dead and 45 injured, AFP news agency reports quoting the office of Ankara’s Governor Mehmet Ali Kiliclar.
