Russia’s Ambassador in Bucharest Oleg Malginov said on Thursday that his country remains “open to the world” and is ready for an “honest collaboration” aimed at strengthening international stability, yet free of “hypocrisy, lies and double standards.”
The world now witnesses an uncompromising battle with new challenges, the main of which is international terrorism. The relapse of neo-Nazism, extremism, aggressive and violent nationalism which, unfortunately, have reappeared on the European continent, becomes obvious, the Russian diplomat said in a speech delivered at the Soviet Heroes Monument on the occasion of the Defender of the Motherland Day, which is celebrated in Russia on February 23.
He showed that Russia is ready to collaborate for strengthening international stability, pointing out that this goal can be reached through a joint effort.
Russia is ready for interaction with a view to jointly counteracting these challenges, it is ready for an honest collaboration, free of hypocrisy, deceit and double standards, aimed at strengthening international stability. We have been and remain open to the world. This openness is not a sign of weakness, but an expression of the certainty that we shall be able to win through a joint effort, Malginov added.
