RE/MAX Romania estimates turnover of EUR 1.5 M from sales commissions

+ Brokered transactions surpassed the 300 mark and sales commissions totalled EUR 1 M in 2015

For RE/MAX Europe, member of the global real estate leader and the world’s number one franchise on this segment, 2015 was a record year from the point of view of the number of transactions brokered and that of sales commissions collected. Thus, at European level, the company registered around 150,000 transactions and over EUR 360 M in sales commissions in 2015, while at local level RE/MAX Romania brokered over 300 transactions that totalled EUR 1 M in sales commissions.

According to the company’s annual analysis, RE/MAX’s over 15,000 agents in Europe closed one deal every 7 minutes.

“Locally, the 15 RE/MAX Romania offices located in Cluj-Napoca, Arad, Oradea, Bistrita, Brasov, Suceava, Bacau, Sibiu and Bucharest brokered over 300 transactions last year, and the total value of sales commissions reached EUR 1 M,” RE/MAX Romania President Razvan Cuc stated.

According to RE/MAX Europe CEO Michael Polzler, the franchise network expanded in several regions in France, the total number of offices thus reaching the 1,600 mark. At the same time, in Romania the RE/MAX network has reached 15 offices in 9 of the country’s most important cities, while its number of agents has surpassed the 100 mark.
“We consider that the hiking of the number of offices and, at the same time, that of agents is due to the fact that lately modern consumers are increasingly demanding professional, quality services and our company took the commitment to train its real estate agents not just in sale and marketing techniques but especially in offering excellent consultancy services,” Michael Polzler added.

At global level, the company’s plans aim to continue expanding the network of offices, as well as the number of real estate agents. Likewise, the countries expected to experience significant growth in the upcoming period include Italy, Spain, Portugal and France.
At local level, Razvan Cuc estimates the attainment of a total number of 24 offices, 165 agents and a turnover of EUR 1.5 M from sales commissions this year.
RE/MAX is a global real estate leader, being the number one franchise at global level on this segment. The company, established in Denver in 1973, currently has over 100,000 agents in around 100 countries worldwide. In Europe, RE/MAX is present in 33 countries, having over 1,600 offices and 15,000 agents.
