ForMin Lazar Comanescu at Foreign Affairs Council’s reunion in Brussels

The Foreign Affairs Minister, Lazar Comanescu will attend on Monday the reunion of the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) in Brussels, the agenda including the EU relations with the Russian Federation and the principles that orient this approach, among the main topics.

Other interesting topics will be the stage of negotiations on the Peace Process in the Middle East, and Iran, with an accent on the fields the cooperation could be boosted.

“The Foreign Affairs ministers will have in a working lunch a swap of opinions regarding the recent evolutions in Libya with Martin Kobler, Special Representative for Libya of the UN Secretary General,” a release by the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) sent on Sunday to Agerpres, informs.

According to the source, Federica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy will briefly address the topic of the role of the European Union within the International Support Group for Syria, the EU initiative on human rights, within the #EU4humanrights campaign and also external aspects of the migrant phenomenon.
