Porsche Engineering Group GmbH has set up a subsidiary in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where Romanian IT workers will develop auto software for the famous luxury brand.
The subsidiary is Porsche Engineering Romania SRL, a company that will have 25 employees by the end of the year, employees it will try to recruit directly from Romanian universities or career fairs, the communiqué shows.
“Through the new representation in Cluj, the activity of development to the benefit of clients continues to be consistently focused on the auto vehicle of the future,” according to Malte Radmann, Chairman of the Porsche Engineering Board.
“The number of employees within the representation in Romania will be raised by the end of the year to 25,” Porsche Engineering Technical Director Dirk Lappe (photo) added.
“For this purpose, we need top-level software engineers that we find in Cluj,” Lappe emphasised, pointing out that Porsche Engineering Romania SRL will look for employees this year through Romanian universities and at job fairs.
