Liberal leaders Gorghiu, Blaga participate in unveiling of party’s candidates for local elections in Vaslui County

The National Liberal Party (PNL) Co-chair Alina Gorghiu said on Sunday in Vaslui that neither she nor Vasile Blaga would back a liberal government after parliamentary elections which would not have as priority building the infrastructure for Moldavia province’s counties.
”It is unthinkable that Vaslui County should have the lowest GDP per capita countrywide, the highest unemployment rate and that the largest employer in the county should be the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection. Vaslui can no longer be a county led by the Social Democrat Party (PSD). (…) Neither I nor Vasile Blaga will back a liberal government which will not have as zero priority building the infrastructure of Moldavian counties,” Alina Gorghiu said in Vaslui at the presentation of PNL candidates for local elections.
In turn, Vasile Blaga, the PNL Co-chair criticized PSD, which he considers responsible for the low living standard in Moldavia.
”PSD has turned Moldavia into the poorest province, but it should no longer be the pool of unconditional votes for PSD. We have chances to win in all Moldavian counties,” said Vasile Blaga.
Alina Gorghiu and Vasile Blaga Vaslui were present at the unveiling of liberal candidates for local elections in June. The meeting was attended also the PNL leaders in the counties of Neamt, Iasi and Suceava, but also by PNL Vice-Chairman from the Republic of Moldova, Sergiu Tataru.
