Banca Transilvania, Fondul Proprietatea and Electrica stocks were the most traded on the stock exchange’s main segment on March 11-18, according to Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) data.
Banca Transilvania stocks were involved in 3,370 transactions worth over RON 68 M; Fondul Proprietatea stocks in 1,010 transactions worth over RON 31.5 M; Electrica stocks in 467 transactions worth approximately RON 12.6 M.
They were followed by OMV Petrom (RON 10.7 M) and BRD stocks (RON 10.1 M).
According to BVB, since the start of the year the main segment has registered 155,638 transactions worth over RON 1.38 bln, involving 84 companies and 40 brokers. Stocks were involved in transactions worth RON 124.7 M, the average daily value being RON 2.26 M. Likewise, 75,861 transactions involved certificates, worth RON 124 M.
The alternative trading system registered 11,424 transactions in the first 55 trading days, their value surpassing RON 62 M, involving 305 companies and 34 brokers. The most traded on March 11-18 were Transcom Bucharest (RON 4.82 M), Deutsche Bank (RON 902,053) and BMW (RON 193,197).
Overall, since the start of the year, BVB has registered over 243,705 transactions worth over RON 1.79 bln. The average daily value stood at approximately RON 32.6 M.
