Firea gives up one position within PSD

Gabriela Firea, PSD’s candidate for the Bucharest City Hall, is suspending her activity as party spokesperson, a communiqué issued by PSD shows.

“In the period prior to the elections campaign and up to the local elections scheduled in June, Senator Gabriela Firea, PSD Vice President, is suspending her activity as party spokesperson. Beatrice Tudor and Ligia Enache will handle the relations with the press,” the PSD communiqué reads.

Senator Gabriela Firea was validated by the party’s leadership as PSD’s candidate in the race for the Bucharest City Hall.

Last week, PSD’s leadership also validated the party’s candidates for the mayoralties of Bucharest’s Districts. The candidates are: Lower Chamber MP Dan Tudorache in Distirct 1, incumbent mayor Neculai Ontanu in District 2, incumbent mayor Robert Negoita in District 3, interim mayor Daniel Baluta in District 4, Daniel Florea in District 5 and Gabriel Mutu in District 6.
