Romanian authorities have issued a notification in the European Commission’s RASFF food and feed safety alerts related to the finding of a plastic part in the ‘Crazy Collection’ chocolate from Poland.
The notification was registered April 1, 2016.
Late this February, US chocolate maker Mars Inc ordered the recall of chocolate bars and drops made at a Dutch factory after a consumer found a small plastic part in one of the group’s products.
Initially, the company launched recall from the market in Germany that later on was extended to cover 55 countries. Recalled were Mars, Snickers and Milky Way bars as well as ‘Celebrations’ drops with a best before date between June 19, 2016 and January 8, 2017.
