Antibiotice Iasi establishes offices in Vietnam

+ The pharmaceutical company stakes on developing businesses in South East Asia

The Iasi-based Antibiotice company has decided to open a representation in Vietnam, against the backdrop in which its exports reached USD 22.98 M last year, up by 7 percent year-on-year. According to the company, exports represented 28 percent of total turnover in 2015.

“The setting up of a representation in Vietnam and the company’s affiliation to the International Chamber of Commerce’s National Committee and the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce, was approved at the Shareholders’ General Assembly meeting on Tuesday, March 19,” Antibiotice Iasi informs in a communiqué.

The company points out that the goal of the move is to develop the company’s business in South East Asia, a region with growth potential for Antibiotice’s products.

“If the sales target for the Vietnamese market in 2016 entails a growth of 30 percent year-on-year, for 2020 we forecast the tripling of sales. The company has been present in Vietnam since 2001 with Nistatina active substance and since 2004 with finished products, currently having 14 products on that market,” Antibiotice Iasi informs.
