Palm Sunday Fair at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant

Like every spring, around Palm Sunday, The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant is waiting for the visitors to come to a fair which hosts artisans from all over the country. The visitors have the chance to meet potters and carvers, as well as spoon, leather or wood craftsmen, iconographers, but also egg and ceramic painters, weavers, seamstresses or braid makers.

The visitors can purchase painted eggs, icons, or wooden and ceramic objects, tissues, toys, musical instruments, finery, painted furniture or other beautiful things.

Moreover, you will find there a lot of sponge cakes, gingerbread, herbal remedies, “palinca” and fruit jam.
