Starting the 13th of May, Tudo – An independent project – brings the unknown into theatres

Tudo is Tudor’s story, a resident promising physician who misses self-confidence and trusting in his own surgical skills. The young man secretly goes to the mountains to seek for a girl who is hurt, as he found out from a deceased patient. He hopes he will be able to operate her and to save her life, proving himself that he deserves to follow a surgical career. Tudor faces a series of strange happenings along with his girlfriend Ilona, which finds him in the forest and joins him.

“When we first decided to produce Tudo, everybody told us we are crazy and that we need an adequate budget for this large project. The script was requiring locations, transport means, equipment, a large team and a lot of work. We found a few people trusting us, a wonderful place at Marginimea Sibiului, in Crint, and we wanted to prove that we can make it possible. And we did it. We were 17 people, including the actors, and we’ve done everything. Now, when the movie is going to meet the public, we are excited to see their reaction. And we are glad that the movie doesn’t look like a cheap movie or a guerilla one” says Iura Luncasu, at his first experience as an independent film director and co-producer. Andrei Baltaretu joined him in all this adventure, having a double task: to be the director of photography and the producer.

Music is signed by Victor Panfilov and Adrian Despot; film editing is ensured by Roxana Maraloiu-Tanase; visual effects: Lorand Toth Vlad Ioachimescu, scenography and costumes: Cristi Marin, make up: Bianca Simion, script: Iura Luncasu and Salex Iatma.

The cast includes Mihai Smarandache, Aylin Cadir, Oana Carmaciu, Alec Secareanu, Pavel Ulici, Bogdan Dumitrescu and Salex Iatma.

The independent thriller Tudo was filmed at Marginimea Sibiului in 13 days, by a 17 people team and with a budget amounting EUR 4,000.

Tudo will be available in the Romanian cinemas starting with May 13 and it is distributed by MovieProduction.
