Transport Minister: Master Plan’s approval in Parliament could be postponed because of elections campaign

In order to get out of the dilemma concerning the future of the Transport Master Plan, the Transport Minister has stated for Agerpres: “There are chances that, because of the elections campaign and the fact that MPs are now spending more time campaigning in their constituencies, the approval of this Master Plan might be postponed. But, at any rate, approving this document this year is an objective for us. There is also the European Commission’s ex-ante condition for us to adopt the Master Plan this year. It has been sitting for several years, so it’s one of the challenges I’m seeing for the end of my term. The challenge is for me to have this Master Plan solved the moment I finish my term in office.”

Will PM Ciolos react to the minister’s statement? Because the Head of Government had just stated that he does not want his government to leave behind only talk or ideas…
