Fifth edition of Rocket Workshop kicks off

EUROAVIA Bucharest together with Romanian Aeroclub are organizing from the 6th to the 8th of May, the 5th  edition of Rocket Workshop.Afiș RoWo A3 part 1 (1)

During this event, 100 students of University POLITEHNICA from Bucharest will be divided in 20 teams, each team having to build a rocket which will be launched at the end of the event.

This project aims to create a unity, both in the EUROAVIA Bucharest family, and in the university environment.  The formation of the teams being made randomly has the purpose to determine the students to develop their abilities of communication, the capacity of analysis over ideas and decisions proposed by other members of the team, all of these testing student’s potential of team-working.

The event will take place during 3 days:

Day 1. Specialized training made by our specialists in rocket mock-ups;

Day 2. Building the rockets;

Day 3. Launching the rockets at Aeroclubul Teritorial “Aurel Vlaicu” Bucharest.

Rocket Workshop is a project with whose help the students learn the technical part of building a rocket, will develop personal skills in communication and team work, and also will spend three intense days, but full of fun!
