On 6th, 7th and 8th of May, in Bucharest, seventeen visual artists specialized in ceramics, glass and metal, will open their workshops to the public or to the organized groups within the event called The Arts of Fire Days.
The public in Bucharest will have the opportunity to know artists and magical inspirational spaces, places where ideas are born and become artworks, by the skillfulness of controlling fire.
At this first edition, the following artists will participate: Adela Bonat (ceramics), Alina Bancila–photo (glass-metal), Aniela Ovadiuc (ceramics), Calin Musat (metal), Ciprian Ariciu (ceramics), Crina Cranta (ceramics), Daniela Fainis (ceramics), David Leonid Olteanu (ceramics – glass), Ileana Dana Marinescu (metal), Iulian Virtopeanu (ceramics), Lucian Butucariu (glass), Lucian Taran (ceramics), Maria Roxana Cioată (ceramics), Misha Diaconu (metal), Nicolae Moldovan, (ceramics), Victor Olivier Sararu (glass -metal), Vlad Basarab (ceramics).
For three days, namely on Friday,6th of May, from 4.00 pm to 9 pm, on Saturday, 7th of May, from 10.00 am to 8 pm, and on Sunday, 8th of May, from 10.00 am to 5 pm, the involved artists will be prepared to present their workshops and artworks, to perform shows, to present works in different creation stages and working techniques, to present the trainings they provide, to arrange mini-exhibitions and to offer discounts or special prices during the event.
The Art Time Creation Workshop, which is the location designed to host the ceramic art in Bucharest, has prepared from 2 to 13 May, a special program, to celebrate the Arts of Fire through: Play in clay, Demonstrations of pouring ceramic materials in shapes, photo and video screenings about ceramics and many other surprises!
