Christian Rodseth – new Managing Director of Janssen Romania pharmaceutical company

As of April, Christian Rodseth has taken on the role of Managing Director for Janssen Romania. Prior to his arrival as head of the Romanian office, Christian Rodseth was the Director of Sales and Marketing Department for Janssen South Africa and the Sub-Saharan region.

On being asked what the 2016 vision for the Romanian company is, Christian Rodseth stated that, “our vision is to build on our past success and to continue to partner with key stakeholders to improve Romanian patients’ access to new generation treatments. Last year Janssen Romania was able to offer patients affected by schizophrenia two new treatment options that were introduced onto the reimbursed medicines list. In addition to this, Janssen initiated an educational program that was focused on dismantling the stigma associated with schizophrenia. In 2016 we continue to move closer to implementing our vision through providing hope for patients impacted by prostate cancer. This is seen through the National Oncologic Program which is reimbursing a Janssen treatment that significantly improves their survival rate and life quality, clearly showing that when all stakeholders focus on putting patient outcomes first that great strikes can be made in improving the lives of Romanian citizens”.

“In this year Janssen will also focus on hematology as priority therapeutic area with the educational programs being rolled out that will support patients communities in better understanding their disease and thereby help them manage the associated challenges” states Christian Rodseth, the new Managing Director of Janssen Romania.
