EUROPAfest celebrates 23 years of concerts * More than 300 artists from 45 countries will perform on Bucharest and Sibiu stages

On May 12, starting at 8.00 pm, at Odeon Theatre’s Majestic Hall, the public is invited at the EUROPAfest 2016 Opening Gala, for a traditional festival of the musical landscape. The concert marks the beginning of unforgettable tend days which you can spend in the company of all over the world musicians, assisting to original concerts, exceptional recitals, virtuosity demonstrations, jam sessions, workshops and master-classes. More than 300 artists from 45 countries will perform on Bucharest and Sibiu stages, both in concert halls and in unconventional places.

The Festival has a unique concept, being the only one in Romania gathering jazz, blues, pop and classical music within the same event.

Under the slogan “It’s all about live, quality music!” EUROPAfest celebrates 23 years of concerts, unforgettable meetings with worldwide musicians, a unique combination of innovation, creative, emotion, ecstatic public, atmosphere and elegance.

On May 12 you can listen good music, you can see famous guests or experience joy and emotions – these are the coordinates of the first Festival evening, namely EUROPAfest Opening Gala, an excellent and refined concert. There will be artists from UK, Norway, Romania, Australia and New Zeeland.

Odeon Theatre will also host EUROPAfest Closing Gala, organized by jmEvents on May 21, starting at 7.00 pm, where you can meet the most appreciated artists of the Festival.
