Profi, the retailer owned by Poland’s Enterprise Investors investment fund, will open its 400th store this month. The event will take place in Iasi, where intense preparations are being carried out in order to celebrate this success on Saturday and Sunday (May 14-15).
“This time we chose Iasi in order to honour our clients and partners through a festive event, to enjoy along with them the coming inauguration of the 400th Profi store,” Profi Rom Food CEO Daniel Cirstea stated. “And since Profi City is a very successful formula, we have decided to offer the people of northern Moldavia too the chance to have such an experience.”
As any self-respecting locality, Profi City has a school, a city hall, an inn, a post office, a medical unit and, last but not least, a stage. Children and adults are expected to have fun together and to take part in a great variety of cultural and gastronomic events.
With over 9,500 employees in 188 localities throughout the country, PROFI is the modern retail network with the widest geographic coverage and at the same time one of the biggest employers in Romania.
