Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos paid on Saturday a visit to the headquarters of the German company Premium Aerotec, in the context of new investments and development prospects at the Ghimbav factory, informs a Government release for Agerpres.
During Prime Minister Ciolos’ official visit to Germany, the governmental delegation went to Augsburg to talk to the management of the German aeronautical company Premium Aerotec, with the agenda of the talks between Romanian officials and the German side having included the development plans that the company is considering for the Ghimbav factory producing and assembling Airbus components.
”Each new commercial aircraft has Premium Aerotec components made in Brasov incorporated. Is an investment that the management company assured me today that it would develop in our mutual interest,” said Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos.
Premium Aerotec is one of the main foreign investors in the aeronautic industry, present in Romania since 2010. The company extended its activity and production capacity in recent years, and in 2015 alone Premium Aerotec invested 15 million euros to extend the production area and upgrade equipment and created 200 new jobs. It forecasts for the current year a 10pct rise in turnover, reads the release.
